I am a Berlin-based interior designer with ten years of experience in the Art Department of film and television productions. To deepen my practical skills and conceptual thinking, but also to understand and work on the theoretical, sociological and historical framework of design and architecture, I went back to university and recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture/Interior Design.

For me, the conceptual development and execution of a project is always accompanied by in-depth research and consideration of the surrounding challenges and people's needs. I believe in the importance of paying careful attention to every detail, not only in the design outcome but also in all the steps along the way. I see limiting circumstances as an opportunity to find unique solutions, be it regarding layout, functionality or construction, or sustainable, socially and ethically conscious design.

Through my thesis "Memory and Spatial Design:

An Exploration of the Collective Memory of Non-Residential Architecture and Interior Design in the Former GDR", I have found many areas of GDR (interior) design and their significance for collective memory to be still unexplored and would like to continue research in this field in the future.
